Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PocketJoy Studio ("we", "us" or "our"), based in the United States, handles information in BlockBloom: Merge Puzzle (the "App"), Android package com.blockbloom.pocketjoy.gp. This policy describes the local-storage version of the App.

The App saves game boards, progress, scores, virtual currency, reward history, gameplay statistics, your chosen display name and avatar, and sound and vibration preferences on your device. These records are used to run the game and restore your progress. A display name does not need to be your real name. The current App does not require an online account or send these game records to an operator-run server.

The current App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone or precise location. It does not ask you to provide payment card details, a phone number or an email address to play. We do not sell local game records or use them for targeted advertising in this version.

The reviewed build has no integrated advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, in-app billing or account-login SDK. The reward button currently grants in-game currency directly and does not play an advertisement. If the published version changes these practices, this policy and the relevant in-app disclosures will be updated before those changes take effect, and any required consent will be obtained.

If you choose to email us, we receive your email address and the information you send, such as a description of a problem or a screenshot. We use this information to respond and resolve the issue. Please do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary sensitive information. Contact: pocketjoy-contact@proton.me.

Google Play and your device operating system may process information independently under their own policies. If you visit these policy pages after deployment, Cloudflare provides website hosting and may process technical request information such as your IP address and browser information to deliver and protect the website. These pages contain no advertising scripts, analytics scripts, tracking pixels or contact forms. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy for their practices.

Local game records remain on your device until you clear the App’s storage, uninstall the App, or otherwise delete them through your device settings. Clearing storage or uninstalling can permanently remove your progress; the current App does not provide an operator-run cloud restore service. Support messages are retained only as long as needed to handle your request and meet applicable legal obligations. To request deletion of support correspondence or ask about your information, email pocketjoy-contact@proton.me. We may retain records where required by law, and will explain any applicable limitation.

We limit the information the current App uses to its gameplay functions. You can change sound and vibration preferences in the App and manage local App storage through Android settings. We do not guarantee that any device, storage method or transmission is completely secure. Depending on your location, applicable law may give you rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of personal information held by us. You may contact us to exercise applicable rights; we will respond as required by law.

The App is intended for children aged 6 and older, including children under 13. The reviewed local-storage build does not require children to register, provide contact information, or communicate with other players. Local game records remain on the device. Parents and guardians should manage support requests on a child’s behalf and avoid sending a child’s name, contact details, photos or other personal information. If we learn that a child has sent personal information through support without any legally required parental consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete it unless retention is legally required. Parents may contact pocketjoy-contact@proton.me to ask about information held by us and request review or deletion. Before introducing online accounts, ads, analytics or other online data collection, we will update this policy and implement the notices, consent and other protections required for the intended audience.

We may update this policy when the App or our practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate notice, and consent will be sought where required by applicable law.
